Champion coach Aaron Velez will be back as chief tactician for Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the upcoming 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.
On Monday, Crossovers announced Velez's second coaching stint for the team in a social media post.
"The experienced coach is returning to take the wheel and lead the Chery Tiggo Crossovers back to the top this coming #PVL2023 All-Filipino conference on February 4," Chery Tiggo wrote.

Velez first led the team in the 2021 Open Conference bagging the championship title, making them the first team to win in the league's first tournament as a professional outfit.
In 2022, Clarence Esteban was appointed as the team's head coach replacing Velez, who, however, remained as team's manager.
He will try to steer Chery Tiggo for the 2023 PVL All-Filipino tournament title as it kicks off on February 4.
