Three persons under police custody took advantage of the inclement weather to stage a daring escape from the Fishport Custodial Facility in Taytay, Rizal.
Based on information obtained by DZRH News, the escape was discovered early this morning at around 4:45 AM.
The Taytay Municipal Police Station identified the escapees as Danny Boy Cancuno, Ronald Barrera, and Kurt Cavasal. Cancuno and Barrera were detained on illegal drug-related charges, while Cavasal was held for violating firearms and ammunition laws.
According to an initial report from the Taytay Police, the three men conspired to dismantle the metal frame in the facility's kitchen, using the bad weather as cover for their escape.
In response to the incident, the police station has offered a ₱10,000 reward for information leading to the immediate capture of the fugitives.
Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the escapees to the nearest police station.
