The tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Francis Pangilinan continued to draw massive crowds as an estimated 220,000 supporters flocked to Pampanga for their latest campaign rally.
The figures were from the local rescue team, local police, and organizers who were present at the event, according to the camp of Robredo.
The head count surpasses by a significant lead the numbers from her previous PasigLaban rally, which reportedly had 130,000 attendees.
"Malinaw na malinaw: #PampangaIsPink! Ang sarap sa pakiramdam makita na ang daming naninindigan kasama ng team #LeniKiko2022 sa ating ipinaglalabang gobyernong tapat para ang kinabukasa'y #AngatBuhayLahat," said Robredo on a Facebook post.

Pangilinan, who is running as Robredo's vice president, also said the support they received in Pampanga was "heartwarming."
"Wala nang mas lalakas pa sa pag-asa na mula sa puso at pagmamahal. Hindi namin kayo bibiguin ni VP Leni Robredo! Lalaban tayo para sa mga nasa laylayan. Lalaban tayo para sa mga Pilipino!" he said on a Facebook post.
(There is nothing more encouraging than hope that comes from the heart and love. We well not fail you with VP Leni Robredo! We will fight for the people in the margins. We will fight for the Filipinos.)
The rally saw the attendance of massive celebrities, including Nadine Lustre, K Brosas, Sam Concepcion, Sharon Cuneta, among others.
The massive event also saw the participation of farmers from Barangay San Nicolas in San Simon, Pampanga, who went onstage to express support for Pangilinan, who has been advocating for the modernization of the country's agriculture industry.
"Karangalan ko na mga magsasaka ng San Simon ang nagtaas ng kamay ko ngayon gabi," said Pangilinan on a Facebook post.

"Hindi ako mapapagod na ipaglaban ang karapatan at kaunlaran ng mga magsasaka at mangingisda. Sama-sama tayo sa tagumpay."

The massive crowd of supporters in Pampanga came days after former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who hails from the province, declared her support to Robredo's rivals Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. and Sara Duterte.
Arroyo previously said she sees a "landslide victory" for the Marcos-Duterte tandem in Pampanga, where the former president served as representative of the province's second district.
