At least nineteen cars were unfortunately burned after a fire hit the extension parking area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Monday.

According to Sherwin Alfaro's live report during RH Balita, the blaze started at 1:00 PM and was declared fire out at 2:30 PM by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
No one reportedly got hurt from the incident.
Authorities said they will conduct an investigation to identify the cause of the fire.
The Manila International Airport Authority(MIAA), meanwhile, clarified that the fire did not affect operations at any of the airport's terminals.
The extreme heat and strong wind are said to have contributed to the escalation of the fire.
According to PAGASA on Monday, the heat index from 42°C to 45°C may rise in several parts of the country.
