Taylor Swift has us all wanting to stay in that Lavender Haze!
On Friday, the US singer-songwriter-director released the music video for her latest single "Lavender Haze" from her 2022 album "Midnights."
The video started off with Swift lighting a match in a room with her boyfriend, played by Laith Ashley De La Cruz, covering them in a literal lavender haze.
The 33-year-old Pop Star took to Twitter to share the story behind the video, saying it was "the first video I wrote out of the three that have been released."
"This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released, and this one really helped me conceptualize the world and mood of Midnights, like a sultry sleepless 70’s fever dream," she wrote.
The Lavender Haze video is out now. There is lots of lavender. There is lots of haze. There is my incredible costar @laith_ashley who I absolutely adored working with.https://t.co/auFTSVBP0A pic.twitter.com/RXWPuKvkxK

“Lavender Haze” is the third music video to debut from her 2022 “Midnights” album, following the videos for “Anti-Hero” and “Bejeweled.”
Swift had previously revealed on Instagram that “Lavender Haze” was actually written about her boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn. She explained how throughout their six-year relationship, they’ve had to dodge “weird” tabloid rumors.
Taylor is set to embark on The Eras Tour, which starts in March in the US.
