Netflix revealed on Wednesday, Oct. 25, the official trailer of Bradley Cooper’s film “Maestro” starring Academy Award Nominees Carey Mulligan and Cooper.

“Maestro is the towering and fearless love story chronicling the lifelong relationship between cultural icon Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein,” the film’s synopsis read.

“A love letter to life and art, Maestro, at its core, is an emotionally epic portrayal of family and love,” it added.

The trailer follows the old Leonard Bernstein reminiscing about his burgeoning relationship with Felicia and her effect on his idea of music. It shifts from a colorful vista of the countryside to monochromatic scenes from the past, showing a younger version of Bernstein.

The film also stars Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, Sarah Silverman, Josh Hamilton, Scott Ellis, Gideon Glick, Sam Nivola, Alexa Swinton and Miriam Shor.

It is set to be available in select theaters on November 22 before its Netflix release on December 20.

“Maestro” is Cooper’s second film as a director following his well-loved 2018 movie “A Star Is Born,” which bagged nominations and won an Oscar for Best Song “Shallow” as sung by Lady Gaga.
