As a result of the intensified impact of the southwest monsoon or habagat, many regions have declared a halt to both work and classes on Friday, August 4.

Despite Typhoon Falcon and Super Typhoon Egay having already departed from the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), several regions are still grappling with flooding and damages.

Below is a list of areas with suspended work and classes:

Central Luzon

• Pampanga - all levels in public and private schools
• Dagupan City - all levels in public and private schools, work in government offices
• Angeles City - all levels in public and private schools
