To mark the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, some schools suspended classes on Tuesday, February 25.
In line with that, here is the list of schools that have announced class suspension on Tuesday:
- Adamson University
- De La Salle Philippines schools (all schools in the system)
- EDSOR Schools (Immaculate Conception Academy, La Salle Greenhills, Saint Pedro Poveda College, and Xavier School)
- Kalookan Diocese Schools Association (De La Salle Araneta University, ICAM, La Consolacion College Caloocan, Notre Dame of Greater Manila, San Jose Academy, St. Gabriel Academy, St. James Academy, and St. Mary's Academy)
- San Beda University (Manila and Rizal)
- St. Joseph College (Quezon City and Rodriguez campuses)
- St. Scholastica's College of Manila
- University of Santo Tomas (UST)
- University of the East (UE) (Manila and Caloocan campuses)

Meanwhile, some schools will shift to alternative learning modes or asynchronous classes. The following schools include:

- Lyceum of the Philippines University - Cavite
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared the date (which falls on a Tuesday) a special working holiday, a decision criticized by various groups, stating that it downplays its significance.

In 2024, the Malacañang also did not declare the EDSA People Power a holiday, which fell on a Sunday.
