Vice President Sara Z. Duterte expressed her warmest greetings to the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) as they marked 111th anniversary, recognizing commitment to unity, peace, and national devotion.
In her official message, Duterte expressed her deep gratitude to Ka Eduardo V. Manalo for his exceptional leadership and the sincerity of his intentions.
“Nais kong ipaabot ang aking pagbati at pasasalamat kay Ka Eduardo V. Manalo sa kanyang kahanga-hangang pamumuno at sa kadalisayan ng kanyang puso sa pagsusulong ng pagkakaisa, pagkakaunawaan, at pananampalataya sa gitna ng iba’t ibang prinsipyo at idolohiya sa lipunan,” Duterte said.
She also commended the INC members for being steadfast with their belief and for the continued prayers they say for the nation.
“Maraming salamat sa ating mga kapatid sa katatagan ng inyong paniniwala sa Diyos at pagmamahal sa ating bansa. Maraming salamat at lagi ninyong ipinagdarasal ang kaayusan, kapayapaan, at kapakanan ng Pilipinas,” she added.
Duterte joined the church in celebrating this milestone, encouraging members to continue living out their faith. She concluded her message with a reminder for the nation
“Mahalin natin ang Pilipinas—para sa Diyos, sa Bayan at sa pamilyang Pilipino.” she emphasized in her closing.
Iglesia ni Cristo's anniversary is celebrated every July 27, and it is declared a special non-working holiday to honor its significant role in the religious sector.
