Vice President Sara Duterte arrived in Davao City on Monday, Oct. 30 to cast her vote for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).
Duterte shared photos of herself voting in Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School, Davao City on her official Facebook page.
&ldquo;Ako po si Inday Sara Duterte, mula sa Davao City, nagpapahayag ng aking suporta para sa isang malinis, tapat, maayos, at mapayapang Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections,&rdquo; she said in the caption.&nbsp;
&ldquo;Magsama-sama tayo sa pagtahak ng daan tungo sa mas makabuluhang kinabukasan para sa ating mahal na Pilipinas,&rdquo; the Vice President added.
Duterte said barangay officials have an important role as they are considered the first level of government that provide solutions to the community level-problems.

&ldquo;Ang halalan ay isang natatanging proseso na kung saan lahat ng Pilipino, anuman ang estado sa buhay, ay nabibigyan ng pagkakataong makapag ambag para sa Bayan sa pamamagitan ng pagpili ng karapat dapat na mamuno sa ating lipunan," she said.&nbsp;
The Vice President furthered that FIlipinos should unite as a nation through voting.
&ldquo;Mga kababayan, patuloy tayo maging MATATAG sa pagtaguyod ng isang Bansang Makabata at mga Batang Makabansa. Ang lahat para sa Diyos, Bayan at Pamilyang Pilipino,&rdquo; Duterte said.&nbsp;
President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. and his son, Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos&nbsp; <a href="https://www.dzrh.com.ph/post/pbbm-casts-vote-for-bske-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cast their respective vote for the BSKE 2023</a> in Ilocos Norte.
