Viktor & Rolf introduced new and unique ways to wear gowns in their latest collection.
The Dutch luxury fashion house flaunted dresses horizontally and diagonally worn by models during the Haute-Couture Spring-Summer 2023 Fashion Week show in Paris on Wednesday.
"Viktor&Rolf Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2023 presents a parade of dreamy, romantic tulle ballgowns, alluding to the grand tradition and golden days of mid-20th century Haute Couture," they wrote in the caption sharing unique Haute Couture gowns.
The show started with impressive topsy-turvy couture gowns.
"With its delicate atmosphere, the collection appears to set the tone for an almost stereotypical vision of Haute Couture as an anachronistic dream of soft femininity," Viktor&Rolf said.
However, as the show progressed, dresses became more unique as some were worn slightly asymmetrical, the bottom part placed near the model's neck, and one styled upside-down.
This was witnessed by Filipino actress and socialite Heart Evangelista sharing photos on her Instagram account.
"A revival of @viktorandrolf’s ‘Cutting Edge’ Collection but with a different twist. Your provocative and avant-garde creations are always a standout. Lovely show indeed," she wrote.
