The Land Transportation Office (LTO) will be auctioning off vehicles impounded from 2023 and years earlier which have not been claimed by their owners.

The public auction will be held on July 17, at 2 in the afternoon.

According to the LTO, the vehicles were impounded for various traffic violations and remained unclaimed beyond a fixed period. Under Presidential Decree No. 1729, the agency has the authority to dispose of such vehicles through public auctions.

Interested bidders are invited to coordinate with the LTO’s Task Group or Secretariat via email or phone to obtain relevant details and inspect the vehicles ahead of the event, which offers an opportunity to purchase units at a more affordable price.
