Filipino-American actress Vanessa Hudgens is set to visit the Philippines for a travel documentary, directed by Paul Soriano, that will dive into her family history and Filipino roots.

Hudgens will be accompanied by her sister Stella and their Filipino mother Gina, who will join her in the shooting project.

For her first-ever visit to the country, the shoot will start later this month, and they will be going to Palawan and Manila.

It can be recalled that back in 2022, Hudgens revealed that she hoped to have her mom's Filipino immigrant story made into a movie.

In an interview with Glamour UK, the actress shared that it is important to share all the different stories since America is a massive melting pot.

Hudgens rose to fame for her role as Gabriella Montez in High School Musical. She is also known for her amazing acting performance in "Princess' Switch," in which she played three characters.
