Both the trust and approval ratings of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. dropped in the third quarter of 2024, according to a survey conducted by the OCTA Research.
Based on the results of the survey released on Thursday, Oct. 31, the trust rating of President Marcos Jr. dropped to 69 percent from 71 percent during the second quarter of 2024.
The approval rating of the President also dipped to 66 percent from 68 percent.
The survey, conducted from September 4 to September 7, also shows that 12 percent of the respondents distrust President Marcos Jr., while 19 percent remains undecided.
12 percent of the respondents also showed disapproval over the performance of the Chief Executive, and 23 percent remain undecided.
Aside from President Marcos Jr., the trust and approval ratings of Vice President Sara Duterte also suffered during the third quarter of 2024.
The survey shows that the trust rating of Vice President Duterte went down to 59 percent from 65 percent in the second quarter, while her approval rating dipped to 52 percent from 60 percent.
14 percent of the respondents also voiced their distrust of the Vice President, and 27 percent remain undecided.
15 percent of the respondents also disapprove of the performance of Vice President Duterte from July to August 2024, while 33 percent remain undecided.
