The Traslacion of the Black Nazarene ends after 15 hours, breaking history yet again as the fastest in recent years.

The carriage carrying the venerated image of the Black Nazarene entered the Quiapo Church at 7:45 p.m.

It left the Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park at 4:45 a.m.

The last Traslacion held in 2020 lasted 16 hours, with the previous processions lasting at least around 20 hours before getting to the Minor Basilica of Black Nazarene.

The Traslacion of the Black Nazarene is an annual religious tradition that commemorates the venerated image’s transfer from Intramuros to Quiapo Church in 1787.

The Traslacion 2024 is the first procession after its three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the Quiapo Church has yet to release the final figure of Filipino devotees who participated in the grand procession, its management confirmed earlier that as of 6 PM, there are 6.5 million individuals who participated in this year's Traslacion.
