A whopping 6.5 million Filipino devotees have participated in the procession of the Image of the Black Nazarene or Traslacion this year, according to the management of Quiapo Church.
In a report from RH Christian Maño, the 6.5 million crowd is composed of devotees who participated in the 5 AM mass in Quirino Grandstand up until 6 PM while the image transverses to Quiapo Church.

Meanwhile, 1.3 million devotees have stayed in Quiapo Church from 12 midnight until 6 PM.
In total, there are 7.8 million Filipino faithful who have shown their fervent devotion to the Image of the Black Nazarene. However, the Quiapo Church has yet to confirm this figure.
The management has yet to confirm if this is the record-breaking number of crowd estimates in the history of Traslacion.
It can be recalled that this year's grand procession marks the first in three years after it was consecutively postponed in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
