A huge tornado struck three barangays in Cabangan, Zambales on Thursday, July 31.

In a Facebook post by Zambales Wonders, it was stated that the tornado hit Brgy. Laoag and Lomboy, then went straight to Brgy. Longos in the said municipality.

According to Councilor Inggo Ronquillo, strong winds damaged several houses, properties, and trees, which led to a power outage as electrical lines were also destroyed.

Clearing operations are also underway, led by local officials and the disaster response team.
