Your wishes have been granted, theatre fans because the official ticket prices and seat plan for the awaited Philippine production of ‘Into the Woods’ are finally announced!
Theatre Group Asia (TGA) unveiled the ticketing tiers and prices for the upcoming musical on Sunday, February 16.
“Even without the cow, the cape, the golden slipper, and the hair — we’re granting a wish of yours today (don’t tell The Witch) Here are the official ticket prices and seat plan for Into the Woods! Where are you headed to?” the TGA wrote in its caption.
The ticket details for the musical are as follows:
- The Woods (VIP) – P6,000
- The Palace (A Reserve) – P5,500
- The Forbidden Tower (B Reserve) – P4,750
- Grandmother’s House (C Reserve) – P3,500
- The Farm (D Reserve) – P2,800
- The Baker’s House (E Reserve) – P1,800
- Giant’s Lair (F Reserve) – P1,500
According to TGA’s announcement, tickets will be available soon via TicketWorld. For now, fans will have to wait for their next announcement.
The Philippine production of “Into the Woods” will have a limited engagement run from August 7 to 24, with 18 performances. It will be staged at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati.
“Into the Woods” features acting powerhouses such as Lea Salonga as the Witch, Eugene Domingo as Jack’s Mother, Nic Chien as Jack, Nyoy Volante as the Baker, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante as the Baker’s Wife, Joreen Bautista as Rapunzel, Mark Bautista as Rapunzel’s Prince, and Teetin Villanueva as Little Red Riding Hood.
“Into the Woods” is based on the book written by James Lapine, who also directed its original Broadway run. It intertwines beloved fairy tales like Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hood, into the story of a baker and his wife who seek to start a family of their own.
