The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) emerged as top three most trusted government agencies in the latest survey conducted by Publicus Asia, Inc.
The results of the 2023 Pahayag second quarter survey showed that TESDA gained the highest approval and trust rating with 72 percent approval rating and 58 percent, respectively.
Trailing TESDA was AFP with 66 approval rating and 56 percent trust rating.
The DOST placed third with an approval rating of 66 percent and a trust rating of 56 percent.
The following government agencies also secured spots in the Top 10:
- Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) - 65 percent approval rate
- Commission on Higher Education (CHED) - 63 percent approval rate
- Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) - 64 percent approval rate
- Department of Tourism (DOT) - 64 percent approval rate
- Department of Health (DOH) - 62 percent approval rate
- Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) - 60 percent approval rate
Meanwhile, TESDA expressed gratitude for the continuous support of the public.
The agency has consistently ranked first among the top-rated government agencies in the surveys for the past two years.
