Taeyeon of the legendary girl group Girls' Generation together with K-pop groups The Boyz and aespa will be coming to the Philippines in April to headline a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
In separate postings, concert promoter Makeitlive announced that the three South Korean acts will be performing in the Ultimate Pop Universe – K-VERSE concert at the Araneta Coliseum on April 11.
The K-pop girl group aespa was the first performer revealed at the event.
Makeitlive also released the official seat plan as well as the ticket prices: SVIP (Reserved Seating) - P13,500, VIP (Reserved Seating) - P12,500, Lower Box - P9,500, Upper Box - P7,500, and General Admission - P4,500.
There will be a "K-Verse" fan pre-sale event on March 18 at Novotel Manila, with details to be announced next week, says the producer. Meanwhile, the general ticket selling is scheduled on March 19 via TicketNet.
The upcoming concert marks the first in four years that Taeyeon will perform in the country. She last held a solo concert in Manila in December 2018.
Debuted in 2007 as the leader and main vocalist of Girls' Generation or SNSD, Taeyeon, 33, has become one of the most successful and influential soloists in the K-pop scene.
The Boyz, an 11-member group, gained popularity after competing in the reality competition programs "Road to Kingdom" in 2020 and "Kingdom: Legendary War" in 2021.
The group previously visited the country in 2019 for a "fan con" at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
Meanwhile, this will be aespa's first in Manila following their debut in November 2020.
Composed of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning, the group is best known for their hit songs "Black Mamba," "Next Level," "Illusion," "Savage," and "Girls."
