Rookie K-pop sensation AHOF (All-time Hall Of Fame) is set to ignite the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, August 30, 2025, with their first-ever fan concert in the Philippines, aptly titled “Rendezvous in Manila.”

The highly anticipated show will mark the boy group’s debut performance in the country as a unit, and Filipino fans are gearing up for a night to remember.

The new boy band was formed through the Korean reality competition show Universe League on SBS TV.

But before the concert, the group faced media, content creators, and their fans in a press conference hosted by Tatang Robin.

The media con started with introducing each member of the group, from Steven, Jeongwoo, Han, JL, Shuaibo, Juwon, Daisuke, Woongki, to Park Han.

As the interview began, the members opened up about their experiences and musical journey, with JL proudly emphasizing his Filipino roots.

When asked about the most challenging parts of performing, Steven is admitted that “the consistent pressure to perform better” can be stressful but motivating. Seo Jongwoo shared that the intensity of dance practices often challenges him.

The group also reflect on the meaning of their track “Who We Are.” Cha says the song “shows who they really are,” while Han notes that it reflects “the unique colors of each member.”

Rising recognition

Despite being rookies, AHOF has already bagged multiple awards including the KWDA "Super Rookie Award" in South Korea.

Shuaibo recalls that at first, they could hardly believe it—“was it a dream?” Meanwhile, Daisuke explains that the recognition only drives them to work harder, “It’s not easy to win awards in Korea. We have to push ourselves even more for our fans.”

Musical inspirations and future endevour

When asked about their music, the group explains that their style is rooted in emotional storytelling.

JL said that their music music reflects team name, and they wanted to “give all the emotions through meaningful lyrics.”

JL reveals that he grew up listening to 2NE1, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo, and even The Beatles, as he remembered his grandfather. While, Park Juwon points to BLACKPINK’s Jennie as a role model.

When it comes to dream collaborations, Woongki mentions Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, while Steven highlights Filipino rap legend Gloc-9.

If they could describe AHOF in one word, Steven chooses “synergy.”

“Because when we come together, even though all the members have different colors, different styles and different strengths. When we come together we reallth some really strong that we can achieve alone,” Steven stressed.

While, Shuaibo goes with “shining.”

'Passion for Filipino fans'

In a lighthearted moment, the members have shared their love for Filipino favorites, Seo mentions pancit canton as his favorite, and learned about the memes in PH, while Cha Woongki highlights mangoes as his favorite food. Daisuke proudly uses the Filipino word “po,” a gesture that delighted local fans as it is a sign of respect.

The members express excitement about finally performing for Filipino audiences.

“The energy here is so high and very welcoming,” says Steven as JL tell himd about the show was already sold-out in just 30 minutes. For first-timers Cha, Parl, and Daisuke, arriving and performing in Manila will be a dream come true.

“Finally, we are doing our media con, fan concert, and fansigning in the Philippines. It’s not easy, but we are very happy and passionate to share these activities with Filipinos,” JL added.

When asked what kind of relationship they want to build with their fans, JL explained, “We want it to be as natural as possible. When we’re authentic, that’s when we truly connect with our fans.”

Looking ahead for the AHOF

As AHOF prepares to take the Araneta stage, Chih En revealed that they will perform their own version of ‘We Ready’ at the fancon on Saturday.

The group promises more stories and music to come.

“We want to connect with our fans and our listeners more and tries to [tell] deepest story about us and a story that fans can relate to” said Steven. JL adds, “Marami po tayong madidiscover together na something na hindi rin po natin ineexpect, I think it's like mystery.”

Their Manila setlist will include at least two of their original tracks, giving fans a taste of their debut album and hinting at the many possibilities ahead for thir anticipated sold-out show.

With their passion, humility, and genuine love for fans, AHOF is ready to prove that their name—All-time Hall Of Fame—is more than a dream. It’s a destiny they are already beginning to build, starting with their Filipino fans.

The celebration will not end at Araneta, as AHOF is also scheduled to hold a special fansign event at Robinsons Galleria on August 31, giving fans a rare opportunity to meet the group up close.
