South Korean boy group Super Junior will meet and greet their Filipino fans instead later this afternoon, August 6 after coming up with the decision of postponing their Manila concert in light of the death of the father of its member Eun Hyuk.
"First of all, after many long discussions between the promoter and the Super Junior members, we both agreed that it would be difficult to properly hold [#SS9inManila] as scheduled,” the group said in a statement.
"However, the group wanted to meet and greet the fans who came to [Manila] to attend the concert, so we’d like to ask everyone with tickets to enter the concert venue on time," it added.
Details on the tickets and schedules would be announced soon, the statement said.
