Subway Philippines has apologized to the public for its controversial commercial advertisement which was called out by netizens due to its objectifying undertones.
&ldquo;This advertisement did not reflect our values of dignity and respect for all," the fast food restaurant said in a statement released on Friday.
The management of Subway expressed regret for producing the content.
"It shouldn&rsquo;t have been produced and has since been removed. We&rsquo;re sorry for this error," it said.
On Wednesday, Gabriela Women's party list <a href="https://www.dzrh.com.ph/post/gabriela-slams-tv-ad-objectifying-women" target="_blank" rel="noopener">condemned </a>&nbsp;Subway Philippines for objectifying women in its latest commercial advertisement.
In the now-deleted viral commercial video, Subway depicted social media personality Kimpoy Feliciano as a "lover boy" who is torn in choosing between three women namely "B", "M", and "T".
The three women represented the different sandwich options of Subway.
