Senator JV Ejercito believes that there is no reason to replace Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri as the leader of the Senate.
Ejercito made the statement on Monday, Feb. 19, following rumors that 11 senators had allegedly signed a resolution to replace Zubiri.
According to Ejercito, it is possible that the rumors of replacing Zubiri was only made due to the issue between the House of Representatives and Senate on the talks of charter change.
He noted that Zubiri will not be replaced as everyone in the Senate agrees on his leadership.
