Authorities have yet to locate three military personnel allegedly involved in the murder of businesswoman Yvonette Plaza last December 28 in Davao City.
Brig. Gen. Benjamin Silo Jr., director of the Davao Regional Police Office, said on Friday, January 27, that the police work with the Philippine Army to locate these 'unaccounted' suspects.
"May private first class at saka corporal," said Silo during DZRH's Dos Por Dos.
Special Investigation Task Force Plaza has already filed murder charges against nine suspects, which include former Presidential Security Group (PSG) Brig. Gen. Jesus Durante, for the death of Plaza.
Silo said that Durante, who has been tagged as the mastermind of the murder, and four other soldiers have been taken into custody by the Philippine Army.
The Philippine Army assured that Durante has been relieved from his latest post as commander of the 1001st Infantry Brigade after authorities linked him to the murder of Plaza.
