Sara Duterte files COC for vice president under Lakas-CMD

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has officially filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) for vice president in the 2022 national elections under the Lakas-CMD party.

Lawyer Reynold Munsayac is said to be the one who filed the presidential daughter's COC two days before the deadline of substitution of election aspirants on Monday, Nov. 15.

Sara replaced Lyle Uy of Lakas-CMD, who earlier withdrew his candidacy for vice president. Uy did not give any statement following his withdrawal.

On Thursday, the incumbent Davao City mayor took her oath as a member of the Lakas - CMD following her withdrawal from her regional party Hugpong Ng Pagbabago.
