An early Christmas gift to all MYs and ReVeluvs indeed!
South Korean girl groups Red Velvet and Aespa, both under the music label SM Entertainment, unveiled the music video teaser of their highly anticipated collaboration song “Beautiful Christmas.”
The track is part of their agency’s winter album project “2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE.”
In the teaser video, the girls came together to celebrate the "best time of the year."
The preview has a warm Christmas atmosphere and elegant visuals.
Prior to the MV's preview, SM dropped the individual shots of Red Velvet and Aespa members donning their cozy pajamas and a uniformed red Santa outfit.
The holiday collaboration will be released on Thursday, Dec. 14 at 6 pm KST.
In January this year, some members of Red Velvet and Aespa have already teamed up for SM’s supergirl group Got the Beat (GOT) and worked on the song "Step Back."
But this is the first time that the entire members of the two groups have worked together.
Red Velvet is an 8-year-old girl group composed of members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri. The group has recently released an EP “The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday.”
In July, Red Velvet visited the Philippines for the "Be You: An extraordinary celebration for the People with Special Needs" concert held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
Aespa debuted in 2020 with four members namely Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning. In July, the group made a comeback with “Girls.”
