The power transmission services in Northern Mindanao remained stable, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
The advisory was made following the 5.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred 17 kilometers northeast of Baganga, Davao Oriental, at 12:20 p.m. today, April 25.
"The Mindanao Grid remains intact as there have been no reported cases of damaged NGCP transmission facilities in areas where the earthquake was felt," the NGCP advisory read.

PHIVOLCS initially reported that the said earthquake had a magnitude of 5.4 but was later downgraded to 5.0.
Meanwhile, the state seismologist bureau said there are no recorded damages, but aftershocks are likely to occur.
