The Agila political party has expressed its full support for the presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo.
In a statement, Agila - Samahang Kaagapay ng Agilang Pilipino, a political party based in 17 LGUs in Metro Manila, expressed their full support for Robredo as the next leader of the country.
The group appreciated Robredo’s strong dedication to public service over the past six years of her term, citing how she truly showed concern for every Filipino, especially the poor sectors of society.
The manifesto was signed by Agila Party President Jose Luis Granados at Adrian Francisco, party chairman.
"As a Regional Political Party present in the vote-rich NCR, we believe that VP Robredo is with us to be - Ang Gagabay sa Ika-uunlad ng LAhat (AGILA), Gransdos pointed out," the manifesto read.
"We believe that under a Leni Robredo presidency, our nation will be united again as we breeze past the ill effects of the Covid19 pandemic like what she has done for the past two years," Granados said.
Robredo and her running mate, Senator Francis Pangilinan is set to hold their miting de avance in Ayala, Makati later this day.
