The Philippine National Railways (PNR) on Tuesday announced the suspension of its operation from April 6 to April 9 in observance of Semana Santa or Holy Week.

In an advisory posted on its official Facebook page, PNR management said the halt will also give way to its yearly regular maintenance.

Based on the schedule, PNR will still operate on April 5.

Prior to this, LRTs 1 and 2 as well as MRT-3 announced that they will be implementing preventive maintenance during Holy Week this year.
