The Philippine National Police (PNP) assures the protection and proper treatment for all the high-profile inmates currently in their custody, including religious leader Apollo Quiboloy and dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo.

"Mahigpit po ang security natin ngayon because of the presence of Quiboloy and Guo at naka-house din ang isa pang high-profile inmate natin na ang kaso naman po ay sa terrorism," PNP Spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo said during an exclusive interview with DZRH's Damdaming Bayan on Tuesday.

Fajardo mentioned that she was given the opportunity to check on and inspect the conditions of Guo and Quiboloy in their cells at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame.

"Kaninang mag-ala-7 ng umaga, napahintulutan tayo na silipin ‘yung kalagayan ng mga bago nating detainee sa custodial facility," said Fajardo.

According to the spokesperson, she personally spoke with Quiboloy, who mentioned that he was able to rest but was still adjusting to the new environment.

She noted that Quiboloy’s cell is quite small, with the bed, a small chair, an electric fan, and an open toilet immediately visible upon entering.

"Hindi po pwedeng bigyang siya ng special accomodation dahil they are being treated equally po," said Fajardo.

"Sumilip po ako [kay Alice Guo], hindi pa po siya nakatayo. Nakahiga pa po," Fajardo further shared.

Fajardo said that the inmates are housed in separate cells, with separate buildings for men and women.

The PNP Spokesperson clarified that if the issue with high-profile inmates is security, then the PNP is prepared to handle it.

When asked about the Senate's request for custody of Guo, Fajardo mentioned that as long as they receive a court order, they will comply immediately.

"Kung maglalabas po ng panibagong order ang korte po ng Capas or any court for that matter, susunod lang po ang PNP," Fajardo said.
