As he nears the end of his illustrious career in the PNP, Azurin admitted to experiencing mixed emotions.
"While I am excited for what the future holds, I cannot help but feel a sense of nostalgia and gratitude for the past 34 years I have dedicated to this noble profession," said PGen Azurin.
He urged the cadets of the PMA to continue upholding the values of courage, integrity, and loyalty, which are the true hallmarks of their Alma Mater.
"As future AFP commissioned officers and leaders of men, may the spirit of camaraderie and undying bond of brotherhood as PMAers give you courage, hope, and strength that you may be able to work jointly as one united strong force. Get motivated by challenges and be inspired of everyone’s achievement. You are the future of our nation, and I have no doubt that someday you will make us all proud", he added.
He concluded his message with a powerful reminder to never give up, regardless of how daunting the journey may be, and to always have unwavering faith in God, who is their ultimate source of strength, comfort, and guidance.
