The Philippine finished at third place in the 2024 King's Cup in Songkhla, Thailand.

The Philippine national men's football team secured a third place finish in the tournament after defeating Tajikistan, 3-0, on Monday, October 14, at the Tinsulanonda Stadium.

Gerrit Holtmann scored the first goal of the Philippines in the 47th minute of the match.

Jefferson Tabinas also found the back of the net at the 58th minute mark, and, four minutes later, Zico Bailey registered his first goal with the national team.

The victory also marked the first win of the Filipinos under their new head coach, Albert Capellas.

The Philippines dropped to the third-place match after falling to eventual champions, Thailand, 3-1, last Friday, October 11.
