The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) on Friday warned the public against the debris from the Chinese rocket that may fall within the country's territorial waters.

In an advisory posted on its website, PhilSa said the the debris from Long March 4C rocket is projected to fall approximately 398 kilometers from Bajo de Masinloc. The agency also estimated that the debris will be dropped in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, and Bolinao, Pangasinan.

"The debris is unlikely to have dropped on land features or inhabited areas within the Philippine territory. However, discarded debris may float around the area or wash to nearby coasts," it noted.
