After the work trip of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the United States of America (USA), he immediately made a personal visit to the flood-affected residents of San Mateo, Rizal, due to the combined impact of Typhoon "Crising," Tropical Storm "Dante," Typhoon "Emong," and the enhanced southwest monsoon.

Joining the president in his visit to the evacuations in Rizal are Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian, Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Ted Herbosa, Department of Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel Bonoan, and Rizal Governor Nina Ynares.

546 families at the Maly Elementary School were able to receive food packs, water, and necessary supplies from the government.

RH 14 Leth Narciso reported that President Marcos went straight to the Sta. Ana covered court after visiting Maly Elementary School to check the status of the affected residents in the area.

According to the directives of the President to the government officials concerned, focus on the needs of the families affected by the southwest monsoon or ‘habagat’, especially those who were flooded and have lost their homes.

Meanwhile, after the visits, President Bongbong Marcos Jr. led the situation briefing in Camp Aguinaldo with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) to assess the effects of typhoon Crising, Dante, Emong, and the southwest monsoon.
