

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has directed to assign medical teams in different evacuation areas amid the continuous rain, affecting the health condition of those who evacuated.
In a report of RH 14 Leth Narciso, after the situation briefing of President Marcos with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), he shared that every evacuation area will have a medical team on standby composed of national and local doctors and nurses.

“Nakita ko sa evacuation centers napaka congested. Yung sakit, kapag isa lang diyan ang magkasaki, kakalat ng napakabilis ‘yan,” PBBM said.
Meanwhile, he also assures that the national office will be in total support in providing the necessary medical needs of each evacuation area.
“Ang trabaho lang talaga sa national ay tiyakin na mayroong sapat na supply na mga gamit at gamot. And that's what we are doing now,” the President explained.
According to the NDRRMC, 2,733,646 individuals are already affected by the effects of the southwest monsoon, Tropical Cyclone Crising, Tropical Depression Dante, and Typhoon Emong.
