The Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) has dismissed all pending cases against Nerizza “Neri” Naig-Miranda, concerning the Dermacare/Beyond Skin Care Solutions scheme.
On Tuesday, March 4, Neri’s husband and musician Chito Miranda posted a photo of a press release from FLO Attorneys, announcing that the latter’s wife has been cleared of the syndicated Estafa complaint.
“In a copy of an Order dated February 12, 2025 and obtained just yesterday, Branch 112 of RTC Pasay City ordered the dismissal of the syndicated Estafa complaint against Miranda upon motion of the Office of the City Prosecutor of Pasay City, which found no probable cause to indict Miranda upon reinvestigation sought by her legal counsel,” the press release reads.
Acting Presiding Judge Ronald August Tan stated that the private complainants never alleged being defrauded by Miranda. Also, private complainants never asserted having personally transacted with or handed over money to the latter.
Due to this, the court ruled the evidence presented failed to establish that Miranda had committed the crime of Estafa, specifically, Syndicated Estafa.
Chito’s Social Media Update
In an Instagram post, Chito expressed his gratitude for the dismissal of his wife’s case. The Parokya ni Edgar frontman said they are incredibly blessed, as the people who matter to them knew the truth and did everything they could to help and support Neri.
“We are so thankful that she was eventually given the chance to defend herself, and her side of the story,” Chito wrote in the caption.
The musician described Neri as a kind, hardworking, and trustworthy person, adding that those who know her are aware of the fact. He highlighted that people often take advantage of Neri’s innate kindness.
“Pero kahit ganun, sobrang proud ako because Neri would always choose to be kind and fair, no matter how mean and unfair the world is, and kahit ano ang ibato sa kanya ng mundo, her integrity, at ang kanyang mabuting pagkatao, will always be intact,” he wrote.
“To those who chose to stand up and defend my wife, maraming salamat talaga,” his statement ended.

In November 2024, Neri was arrested for violating the Securities Regulation Code.
Chito quickly defended his wife, and stated that she was merely an endorser for the skincare company, “Dermacare.”
