Partido Reporma maintains support to Sotto's VP bid

Partido Reporma president Pantaleon Alvarez reiterated their support to the vice-presidential bid of Senate President Vicente 'Tito' Sotto III despite the departure of his running mate Sen. Panfilo 'Ping' Lacson from the party.

In an interview, Alvarez said they have not yet initiated talks with Sotto but maintain their support for him.

Lacson on Thursday resigned as the chairman and member of Partido Reporma, making him an individual candidate in the upcoming national elections.

On the same day, Davao del Norte 1st District Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez, who stood as the president of Partido Reporma, formally announced his support to the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo.
