He made the remarks as Robredo marks her 57th birthday on Saturday.
She would be celebrating her birthday with Filipinos at a massive campaign rally on Diosdado Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City.
She encouraged her supporters to join the rally by wearing various colors to show that her campaign is not just for a select crowd, but for all Filipinos.
"Sabay-sabay nating ipakita na ang laban na ito ay hindi lang para sa piling iilan, kundi para sa lahat. Welcome dito kahit sino, kaya tara na!" she said on a Facebook post.
