Two suspected high-level drug dealers yielded a total of PHP 17.7 million in "shabu" in two separate anti-drug sting operations in Cebu on Monday.
Cebu City Police Office's Drug Enforcement Unit reported that they arrested Ramil Gabaca, alias "Loloy," 29, a regional-level high-value target and resident of Sitio Cabangcalan in Barangay Bulacao in Cebu.
When anti-drug operatives cornered him Sunday night in Villa Bulsita of the same village, he yielded 605 grams of shabu worth PHP 4.1 million.
Ariel Lipumano, 32, of Sitio Villabusca, also in Barangay Bulacao, was also arrested in a separate buy-bust operation Sunday night. He was able to produce 2,000 grams of shabu worth P13.6 million.
The suspects are now facing charges under Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
