The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that no weather disturbances are likely to hit the country in the coming days, but rain is forecast in some places due to the southwest monsoon.

According to PAGASA weather forecaster Veronica Torres on DZRH’s Dos Por Dos, the areas of Zambales, Cavite, and Quezon are likely to experience moderate to heavy rain showers and thunderstorms.

The areas of Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, and Bataan will also experience moderate to heavy rain showers with localized thunderstorms, Torres added.

"Pero dahil panahon ng Habagat medyo may kadalasan ang mga pag-ulan sa western section ng bansa natin," she explained.

Torres also mentioned that they are yet to monitor any tropical cyclone or low pressure area in and out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility, which is why there is a slight chance that tropical cyclones will develop in the next two to three days.
