An undetermined amount of Shabu has been discovered in a courier shipment in Las Piñas, leading to the arrest of a Nigerian national and his Filipina partner on Tuesday night, July 30.

According to a report by Noche Cacas, the illegal drugs were hidden inside a solar light assembly that was reportedly bound for Nigeria.
The arrest took place around 9:00 PM at The Tent, Gatchalian Drive, Barangay Manuyo Dos, Las Piñas City.
The courier company, which had picked up the solar lights from the suspects' residence in Las Piñas, was surprised when the shipment was intercepted along Tent City C5 Road in Las Piñas.
The operation was led by NBI Director Jaime Santiago and supported by the Las Piñas City Police Station (CPS), following a search of a FedEx van suspected of containing illegal drugs.
The suspects are currently in custody, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of their involvement in drug trafficking activities.
