New PCSO chair seeks increased revenue, to help more people
by Kristan Carag31 May 2024

Former Judge Felix Reyes, the newly-appointed chair of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Board of Director, assured on Thursday, May 30, that the revenue of the state-owned lotto operator will continue to go up under his leadership.

Reyes stressed that an increased revenue will mean the PCSO can help more people in need.

Reyes expects that the introduction of e-Lotto will help increase the number of bettors, and push the revenue of PCSO to further heights.

Under the medical assistance program of PCSO, Reyes said that the operator provides aid for hospitalization, dialysis, chemotherapy, and maintenance medicine.

Reyes said that PCSO also has a program that provides ambulances to various local government units.

The PCSO official said that the agency targets to provide an ambulance to all cities and municipalities before the end of the current Administration.

Reyes added that PCSO works to procure sea ambulances for island municipalities.
