The long wait is over for all the fans of the hit Korean television series “Squid Game” as Netflix has recently dropped a teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated second season.
On Sunday, the international streaming platform dropped a 1 minute and 35 seconds trailer which unveiled that four South Korean actors namely, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, will be the new cast members of the show.
Meanwhile, Korean actors Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-Hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo are set to return and be reprising their previous roles.
The second installation of “Squid Game” was written, produced, and directed by renowed Korean creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk.
Aside from the second season trailer, Netflix also dropped a sneak peek of “Squid Game, the Challenge” a new brand series that turned game competition into a reality.
Season 1 of “Squid Game” first premiered last September 21, 2021, and it has become one most-watched shows on Netflix around the world.
The series focused on a contest where players were invited to play deadly children's games.
The winning contestant will take come a total ₩45.6 billion or US$35 million.
