Kitty Song Covey is about to get her own love story!
On Thursday, Netflix dropped the first-look teaser trailer of its upcoming romantic dramedy series "XO, Kitty," which is a spin-off of the 2018 hit film "To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before."
Anna Cathcart will be reprising her role as Kitty, Lara Jean’s younger sister.
The two-minute trailer begins with Kitty whose in front of a slideshow presentation explaining how "she knows when people are meant for each other."
Later on, she asked her dad to allow her to go to the same high school in South Korea that her mother had attended, adding that it is the same school where her crush, Dae, currently attends.
"It's more than that, Dad. It's fate," Kitty said when her dad reacted that it was a coincidence that her mother and her crush go to the same school.
The upcoming series will have 10 episodes, which will be released staring May 18 on Netflix.
"XO, Kitty" is written and executively produced by Jenny Han, the author of "To All the Boys I've Loved Before."
Many fans and viewers are looking forward to the return of the phenomenal love team Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky, as portrayed by Lana Condor and Noah Centino, respectively.
