The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) expressed its readiness for the potential impact of Typhoon Pepito on Metro Manila.

PMaj. Myrna Saley Diploma, Officer-in-Charge of the Regional Public Information Office, stated that they have already deployed 400 police personnel to critical areas for rescue, relief, and recovery efforts.

Over 600 police personnel and reactionary standby units are also stationed to address any emergencies during the height of the calamity.

Diploma stated that they are focusing their efforts on Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela (CAMANAVA), areas in NCR that are frequently affected by flooding.
