The National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) on Tuesday reopened its doors to the public after its temporary closure for the inauguration ceremony last June 30 of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.
"The NMP Complex in Manila reopens today, July 5, 2022, after temporarily closing to the public for the inauguration of President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr.," the museum said on its Facebook page.
"Visit us from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. No need for reservations, ADMISSION IS FREE!," it added.
The National Museum of Fine Arts at the Old Legislative Building, Padre Burgos Drive in Manila was closed from June 6 to July 4 in order to give way for the preparation of Marcos' oath-taking ceremony.
Aside from the National Museum of Fine Arts, the NMP Complex also houses the National Museum of Anthropology and the National Museum of Natural History.
