The Manila Police District Intelligence Division (MPDID) arrested a man known for his aggressive style of begging inside public transportation on Tuesday, February 18.

According to a report by RH Boy Gonzales, the 23-year-old suspect without a permanent address, was apprehended during an operation conducted by MPDID officers.

PCapt. Joel Aquino of the MPDID stated that Cadag was found loitering at the corner of Severino Street and Cavite Street. Upon his arrest, authorities discovered he was carrying an ice pick.

Cadag gained online notoriety after videos circulated showing him boarding passenger jeeps along Blumentritt Road to ask for alms. When passengers refused, he allegedly brandished an ice pick and threatened them before exiting the vehicle.
