Typhoon Nika and Super Typhoon Ofel have affected 309,518 individuals, or around 85,415 famillies, in five regions as of Thursday, November 14.
Based on the latest report from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), the affected families come from Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Bicol Region, and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
NDRRMC said that 8,676 families, or around 26,923 individuals, receive aid at evacuation centers, while 5,653 families, or around 19,572 individuals, receive aid outside of evacuation centers.
As of writing, NDRRMC has yet to report any fatalities but the agency received information that two individuals suffered injuries in Central Luzon but the reports still need to undergo validation.
