More Filipino students and alumni from different universities in the United Kingdom (UK)announced their support for the presidential and vice-presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis 'Kiko' Pangilinan.
In a joint statement, at least 250 students, alumni, and researchers from different universities in the UK believe that the kind of country that the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem promises are the "same one we aspire to and seek to work towards: a country of good governance, a country that is pro-poor and pro-people."
"With a Philippine government led by Leni-Kiko, we will be able to hope and dream again, for ourselves and for our future generations," the statement read.

Several universities in the Philippines together with its students, alumni, and faculties also pledged their support to the tandem of Robredo and Pangilinan in the upcoming national elections.
